As a church school, proud of its Christian ethos, we seek to provide a loving, caring, supportive learning environment, where children feel safe and happy to learn.  Our aim is to unlock the potential inside each and every unique individual and we strive for pupils, parents, staff and governors to work tirelessly in partnership to achieve this. 

No two days are the same at St. Peter’s School (which can be seen by reading our fortnightly newsletter) but our children are always at the heart of all that we do.  Through our continually evolving, immersive themed curriculum, learning stretches beyond the confines of the classroom and traditional school day.  This is achieved through a continual focus upon our school vision of Achieve-Believe-Create.  Every day learners are given opportunities to: Achieve and do the very best they can; Believe in our Christian Ethos and themselves as unique individuals; and Create a happy, healthy and successful future equipping them with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to become responsible, respectful and active global, national and local citizens, well-prepared to face the challenges of life.

St. Peter’s teaches respect and self-belief.  The staff acknowledge good behaviour, praise talents and award exceptional pieces of work.  When I drop my three children off, I am happy that they are safe and cared for.
