Teaching Assistant  

Salary: Grade 3 - 19.25 hours per week & Grade 2 - 2.5 hours Midday Meals  Supervision (Term Time Only) 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to work in our vibrant, welcoming and supportive village school. For your application to be successful you will be able to offer some or all of the following:

  • experience of working with children, preferably in a primary or early years setting;
  • commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and motivating children to learn;
  • confidence providing support utilising good literacy and numeracy skills;
  • an ability to be fair, apply equal opportunities at all times and understand the importance of confidentiality;
  • resilience, optimism and a belief that with the right support all children can access learning;
  • evidence of team working and an ability to use your own initiative; and
  • a growth mind-set demonstrating an ability to seek solutions rather than problems.

School Cleaner  

Salary: Grade 2 - 10 Hours per week ( with some flexibility) 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to join our supportive and committed team.  For your application to be successful, you will be able to offer:

  • Able to take pride in their work ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the school
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Confident following school policies and guidelines thus ensuring safe practices
  • Conscientious and reliable thus making a positive impact upon the school environment for our pupils, staff and visitors

This is a permanent appointment with a six months probationary period, subject to satisfactory service.  The working hours are term time only from 3.30pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Premises Officer 

Salary: Grade 4 - 15 Hours per week ( with some flexibility) 

We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual to join our supportive and committed team.  For your application to be successful, you will be able to offer:

  • experience of working in a practical role with evidence of good maintenance skills;
  • a rational approach to health & safety with clear consideration of how best to support colleagues alongside a willingness to learn;
  • a strong understanding of the need to complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual checks;
  • good organisational skills and an understanding of the need to maintain clear records;
  • an ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks and draw upon the support of contractors as and when required; and
  • good communication and interpersonal behaviour which is fully supportive of the school community.
