We Will Remember Them

On Sunday, accompanied by Mrs Hall, our house captains represented St Peter’s at the Ardingly village Remembrance Service held on the recreation ground.  Joining the Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Guides and Brownies, Mrs Hall was especially proud of our captains who truly embodied our value of respect on this significant occasion.  It was heartening to see the students engaged in such meaningful events.

This week, children in Key Stage 2 have been learning about the sacrifices made by our ancestors, which allow us to enjoy the freedoms and privileges we have today.  It is vital that we instil an understanding of gratitude and remembrance in young minds, and it has been evident that their lessons have resonated strongly with them.  Together, we remind ourselves: Lest we forget!
