Sports Day 2026
Last Wednesday, 17th June, Ardingly Recreation Ground was once again filled with colour, energy and excitement as the whole school came together for Sportsfest 2026.
The weather stayed dry throughout, with warm sunshine but without the intense heat of this week, creating ideal conditions for a full day of sporting action and friendly competition.
As always, the children showed tremendous enthusiasm, resilience and sportsmanship. Whether racing on the track, competing in team challenges or cheering on their classmates, every pupil gave their very best and represented their team with pride. The atmosphere was fantastic, with encouragement ringing out from children, staff, parents and families throughout the day.
After a closely fought competition, Blue Team emerged as the overall Sportsfest 2026 Champions. Congratulations to them on a well-deserved victory. Every team should be immensely proud of their efforts, with pupils consistently demonstrating teamwork, determination and respect for one another.
