Safety First!

This term, Greenfinch and Cuckoo classes have been learning about people who help keep us safe.

Last week, West Sussex Police Education Officers, Nick Mangan and Paul Umney, visited to talk to the children about how the police protect our communities. The officers shared important safety tips, answered lots of thoughtful questions, and even let the children try on police helmets, hats, and jackets. Of course, no visit would be complete without sitting in the police car, seeing the flashing lights, and hearing the sirens!

Later this week, the children will also be welcoming West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service for another exciting session on safety!
