Aunt Lucy says….

Just last Wednesday, Greenfinch and Cuckoo class, enjoyed a very special trip to London, travelling by train to visit the magical Paddington Bear Experience... and what a fabulous day it was!

On arrival in London, they walked along the Southbank, taking in the many sights as they made their way to the experience. Here they were immersed in the wonderful world of everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear, Paddington. The children helped Paddington and his friends prepare for a special celebration, solving clues, exploring different themed rooms and interacting with lively characters throughout the adventure.

From stepping inside Paddington Station to visiting the Brown family home at 32 Windsor Gardens, every part of the experience brought the beloved stories to life. The children showed fantastic enthusiasm, teamwork and imagination as they completed their tasks and followed Paddington’s journey.

Of course, no Paddington trip would be complete without a mention of marmalade sandwiches, so it was delightful to see how many children had been given marmalade sandwiches for their lunch! We were incredibly proud of the way the children embraced the experience, particularly as for some it was their first visit to London. Their behaviour truly reflected Paddington’s wise words: “If you are kind and polite, the world will be right”.
